It was just a simple thing…until it wasn’t.
Meet Jennifer. A healthcare professional with a full schedule of patients, children, and recreational activities, Jennifer sought help when an injury started impacting her everyday life. The simple things were no longer so simple.
“About five years ago, I injured myself at work. I had a confused patient hit me and pull on my arm. After the incident, I was left with neck pain and right wrist pain. At times the pain was so intense I was unable to lift a pot or stir soup. The pain in my wrist limited all of my work and leisure activities.
I spent the next six months in physiotherapy with only mild improvement. I still had trouble sleeping with my neck pain. My wrist had become so painful I was no longer able to lift my children or play sports. After six months, the physiotherapist discharged me from therapy, but I still had pain. I left feeling stressed and discouraged. I was only 35 years old and I have a very physically demanding job. How was I going to take care of my family? I decided to try chiropractic care. I believed my wrist was chronic but I was hoping to get some relief with my neck pain. Less than one month later my wrist was back to normal. I was able to return to all my work and leisure activities pain-free. Almost 10 years later, I still go to a chiropractor for general health therapy. I am pain-free and healthy.”
Pain changes everything. Chiropractic care changes pain.
