Research Symposium and Breakout Sessions

This track includes the biennial Research Symposium on Friday, which for the first time ever, will be open to all attendees. The theme of the Symposium for 2015 is Bridging the Gap between Researchers and Clinicians and will examine methods for making scientific evidence relevant, accessible, and easy to implement for clinicians in their everyday practice. Attendees will also have the option of attending two research-themed breakout sessions on Saturday. Learn strategies for better communication about chiropractic research with patients and other healthcare providers, and discuss the role of current chiropractic research and how it enhances patient care.

Intensive and Risk Management Sessions

The most challenging time for any chiropractor is those first years after graduation when building a practice. Creating strong business principles is the hallmark of a successful clinic, and is necessary for chiropractors to build and maintain. Your business practices will help set you apart, and assist in staying ahead of competitors with lesser business practices. We are pleased for the first time ever to provide an intensive 3-hour session on Friday, entitled Building a Profitable Patient- Focused Chiropractic Clinic, as well as two Risk Management Sessions on Saturday hosted by the Canadian Chiropractic Protective Association.

Intensive, Keynote, and Panel Discussion Sessions

The Specialty Colleges track of the CCA National Convention on Friday will feature the integration of the Chiropractic Specialty Colleges Annual Scientific Symposium into the National Convention. This stream will feature four consecutive 45-minute sessions addressing a variety of clinical topics with a focus on How Your Patients Can Benefit from Advanced Case Management. Delegates will also be able to attend a themed keynote on Saturday morning focused on the role of medico-legal chiropractic experts, followed by a panel session of five chiropractic specialists who will address a variety of topics related to treating complex spinal disorders.
