Legislative approaches to the regulation of the chiropractic profession

Traditional or complementary health care services have a growing and significant role in both developed and developing countries. In the United Kingdom there was new legislation to regulate the chiropractic and osteopathy professions in 1993 and 1994. This was supported by the British Medical Association. There is now legislation regulating chiropractic practice in many jurisdictions.
